My name is Steve Ebner. I founded this marketing consulting company in 2002, after 12 years of creating marketing strategies in the corporate world. Since then, I've helped over 40 companies acquire more sales leads, redefine their market positioning, improve customer loyalty, launch new products, boost search engine rankings, and fully leverage the Internet.
Although I now work with a team of Denver marketing consultants, I remain the lead consultant for every active client... including all new clients.
The following is a snapshot of my background and our other lead consultant, Amy Johnson. Depending on a client's needs, Amy and I will often work jointly on developing and implementing client strategies. Both of us are based locally in the Denver area. I bring a unique ability to develop marketing and communication strategies from a tactical implementation perspective. This means each client gets a strategy that is fully customized to their internal resources and their specific goals. I continually look for new ways to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, whether its using emerging technologies, new measurement variables, or using traditional communication channels in a different way.
While industry-specialists certainly have value, I've found my broad industry experience brings a valuable "fresh perspective" to each client's campaign planning and implementation. An industry-insider can not always objectively view and exploit a company's opportunities. Therefore, my focus has been to seek out best practices across all industries and evaluate how each can benefit a particular client. I have worked with clients spread across the financial, housing/real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, and education industries. I continue to work with both business-to-business companies and business-to-consumers. The marketplace is evolving fast and I never want to discount a great idea just because nobody else in an industry has done it!

Cultivating partnership & cooperative marketing programs;
Directing creative design of marketing collateral, including broadcast media advertisements, brochures, print ads, specialty advertising, direct mail, and others;
Managing sales events and corporate tradeshow campaigns;
Coordinating national & international public relations efforts, including feature article placements,extensive copywriting, press release circulation, and others;
I graduated top of my class (Summa cum laude) in December 2004 from Regis University (Colorado) with a Master of Business Administration and a Market Strategy specialization. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Hillsdale College (Michigan) in May 1990.
Prior to creating my marketing services company, I was Vice President of Marketing at GIS pioneer Land Info International. I launched and managed a business-to-business online storefront that provided proprietary digital mapping products for professionals in entertainment, media & publishing, civil engineering, construction, oil & gas, and governmental sectors worldwide. I also directed the corporate marketing and business development strategy, including partnering, advertising, event marketing, pricing, market research, and related initiatives.
My business-to-consumer corporate experience has included marketing and business development positions with DirecTV/Primestar Satellite TV (entertainment), World Sports, Inc.(recreational retail), and the Walt Disney Company (entertainment). I received multiple management service awards at both DirecTV/Primestar and Walt Disney Company for exceptional performance. My work at DirecTV/Primestar included leading the company’s first website and online program, developing the industry’s first national yellow page advertising program, and creating the company’s integrated marketing program targeting the Hispanic market. I managed a 25-person business development and customer service center for the ski industry retailer, World Sports, Inc. My work at the Walt Disney Company included managing a Media Center that coordinated 20,000 media guests during Walt Disney World’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.
